PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• February 1998 - Present ................ItalVideo srl. and Normac srl., ITALY

Export account manager for two Italian software houses (ItalVideo and Normac from Veneto). Assist in the development and sales of their software packages (written in Visual Basic)- an Automatic Video Distribution and an Electronic Point of Sale system- by interfacing between clients and programmers in order to successfully meet varying client requirements. Activities conducted include programmer management, technical assistance and consultation, web site development, price list creation, contract negotiation, marketing and sales.

 

• January 1994 - January 1998 .........Acciaierie Valbruna srl., ITALY

Export sales manager for Europe's largest stainless steel long products mill Acciaierie Valbruna. Sole responsibility for Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India and the Middle East export markets. Duties included frequent international travel, marketing and sales as well as the monitoring and management of shipment and production status. A capacity for the management of people and production processes in English and Italian was a job requirement.

Project Manager responsible for the restructuring and marketing of the R & D department of the national telecommunications company of Indonesia. This involved extensive consultations with all the operating divisions in English and Indonesian with the final scope of recommending and implementing structural and work process changes as well as improved marketing methods with respect to services provided. Support for changes were facilitated through the encouragement of active participation in all parts of the change process.
